My receipts aren’t printing

If you are using an ethernet receipt printer

 

  1. Check that the printer is on and plugged in to your WiFi router

  2. Check that the printer has paper. Please make sure that this is thermal receipt paper.

  3. Check your internet connection. The Ethernet printer connects to your PC over WiFi and cannot print if there is no WiFi connection. It may be necessary to re-start your WiFi router to re-establish the internet connection. Please make sure that your computer and printer are connected to the same network for the printer to be discoverable on the pc.

  4. Check that the option for Print receipts on completion of a sale is ticked on your Till. To do this: 

    1. Log in to Humble and select Settings (⚙️)

    2. Select General

    3. Under Receipt Settings check that the box next to "Print receipts on completion of a sale" has been selected (✅)

  5. Once you have checked all the above and your printer is still not printing, you might need to re-find the printer on Humble. To do that follow these steps:

    1. Log in to Humble and select Settings (⚙️), then Connect Hardware

    2. Check that the receipt printer model appears under All Available Printers

    3. Click the Select Printer button

    4. Click Test and check that a slip with a corresponding IP address prints from your Epson Printer.

    5. If a slip has printed, your receipts will now print on the Till screen

    6. Your Printer's IP address should now show in brackets next to your printer model under the Selected Printer heading

 

If you are using a usb receipt printer

 

  1. Check that the printer is on and plugged in to your computer

  2. Check that the printer has paper. Please make sure that this is thermal receipt paper.

  3. Check that the option for Print receipts on completion of a sale is ticked on your Till. To do this: 

    1. Log in to Humble and select Settings (⚙️)

    2. Select General

    3. Under Receipt Settings check that the box next to "Print receipts on completion of a sale" has been selected (✅)

  4. Once you have checked all the above and your printer is still not printing, you might need to re-find the printer on Humble. To do that follow these steps:

    1. Log in to Humble and select Settings (⚙️), then Connect Hardware

    2. Check that the receipt printer model appears under All Available Printers

    3. Click the Select Printer button

    4. Click Test and check that a slip with a corresponding receipt printer model prints from your Epson Printer.

    5. If a slip has printed, your receipts will now print on the Till screen
