Minimum System Requirements for Humble 2.0 POS

To ensure the best possible experience when using Humble 2.0 POS, please make sure your internet connection, device, and hardware meet the following minimum requirements.


1. Internet Speed

For smooth and reliable performance, your internet connection should have:

  • Download speed: Minimum of 5 Mbps

  • Upload speed: Minimum of 5 Mbps

2. Operating System Requirements

Humble 2.0 POS is cloud-based, allowing flexibility across platforms.

Windows / Mac

  • Designed to run in Google Chrome on both Windows and Mac computers.

  • Ensure your browser is updated to the latest version for optimal performance.

Android

  • Minimum supported version: Android 9 (Pie)

  • Available via the Google Play Store.

iOS

  • Minimum supported version: iOS 13

  • Available via the Apple App Store.


3. Hardware Compatibility

Receipt Printers

Ethernet (LAN) Printers

Supported models:

  • Epson TM-T20II Ethernet Printer (Recommended)

  • Epson TM-T88 Ethernet Printer

  • Epson TM-T88v Ethernet Printer 

USB Printers

Supported models:

  • Epson TM-T20 USB Printer (Recommended)

  • Epson TM-T20II USB Printer

  • Epson TM-T20III USB Printer (Not supported)

Bluetooth Printers

Supported models:

  • Epson M30 Bluetooth Printer


Printer Setup (USB & Ethernet)

  1. Download the Humble Till Printer Support Chrome Extension.
    (Note: This is currently included in the Humble 2.0 POS system. A Chrome Store version will be re-added soon.)

  2. Configure the printer according to the manufacturer’s product manual.

  3. For Mac (TM-T20):

    • Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners

    • Add a new printer and select the USB receipt printer from the list

    • Under “Use”, select one of the Epson Thermal dpi options, then click Add

  4. In Humble 2.0 POS:

    • Navigate to Settings > Hardware

    • The app will automatically search for available Ethernet and USB printers

    • Find your printer and click Connect

  5. Once connected, you’ll see it listed under Connected Printers.

    • You can print a test receipt, change paper width, or disconnect at any time.


Cash Drawers

If you use a cash drawer, ensure your receipt printer has an RJ11 port.
By connecting your cash drawer to the receipt printer via an RJ11 cable, the drawer will open automatically after a cash sale.

Barcode Scanners

USB Scanners

Supported and recommended models:

  • QuickScan I Lite QW2120 USB Scanner

  • Honeywell 1250 USB Scanner (Recommended)

  • Zebex Z-315 USB Scanner 

Bluetooth Scanners

Supported models:

  • SocketMobile S700 Bluetooth Scanner


Barcode Printers

Supported models for label and barcode printing:

  • Brother QL-720NW Label Printer

  • Brother QL-810W Label Printer

These printers connect via USB and are compatible with both Windows and Mac.
Recommended label sizes:

  • DK11204: 17mm x 54mm

  • DK11209: 29mm x 62mm
