User Permissions / Restricting User Access

You may have to allow certain access to certain users based on their job description. To do so, go to Settings (the cog on the top right next to your name). You will be taken to the General Page. 

Click on Users and then click on the user you wish to update.

General Permissions:

• Manager Actions - Allow the user to perform manager actions, including using their PIN to authorise sensitive actions
• Receive Admin Emails - Such as Cash Up Warnings, Low Stock Warnings, etc.
• Allow Open Cash Drawer - Allow opening the cash drawer without a sale or cash up (If cash drawer is connected)
• Allow Store Switching - The ability to switch between stores
• Require Manager PIN - Require the manager PIN to perform sensitive actions:
  • Refunding or voiding sales
  • Reprinting kitchen orders
  • Generating pro-forma invoices, delivery notes, and quotes
  • Completing account payments or petty cash transactions
  • Changing the quantity, discount, or unit price of an item
  • Changing the sale discount
  • Deleting sale items and deleting sales

Till Permissions:

• Allow Sale - Allows the user to add products to the basket and complete sales

• Allow Customer Payment Transactions - Allows or restricts a user ability to accept Customer Payments on the Till

• Allow Petty Cash Transactions - Allows or restricts a user ability to complete Petty Cash transactions on the Till

• Allow Basket Discount in Till - Allows the user to apply a discount to the basket

• Allow Item Discount in Till - Allows the user to apply a discount to an item in the basket

• Allow Unit Price Change - Allows the user to change the selling price of an item in the basket

• Allow Delete Sale in Till - Allows the user to delete the basket
• Allow Delete Sale Item in Till - Allows the user to delete an item from the basket
• Allow Change Quantity in Till - Allows the user to decrease the quantity of an item once added to the basket
• Allow All Stored Sales - Allows the user to view the stored sales
• Allow Add Customer to Sale - Add or remove a customer from a sale
• Allow Sales History - Allows the user to view the sales history
• Allow Reprint - The ability to tax invoices on the Sale Complete screen and from the Sales History section

Cash Up Permissions:

• Allow Cash Up Management - Allows or restricts the users ability to view and reprint past cash ups from within Cash
  

Inventory Permissions:

• Allow Products - Allows the user access to the Products tab in Inventory

• Allow Add Products - Allows the user to add new products

• Allow Edit or Delete Products - Allows the user to  edit or delete existing products

• Allow Product Import and Export -Allows the user to import or export their product list

• Allow Add Categories - Allows the user to add new Categories

• Allow Edit or Delete Categories - Allows the user to  edit or delete existing Categories

• Allow Add Brands - Allows the user to add new Brands

• Allow Edit or Delete Brands - Allows the user to  edit or delete existing Brands

• Allow Add Promotions - Allows the user to add new Promotions

• Allow Edit or Delete Promotions - Allows the user to  edit or delete existing Promotions

• Allow Stock Takes -Allows or restricts the users ability to start and complete a stock take within Inventory

• Allow Viewing Past Stock Takes - Allows the user to view previously completed Stock Takes

Suppliers Permissions:

• Allow Supplier Management - Allows the user access to the Suppliers tab

• Allow Add Suppliers - Allows the user to add new Suppliers

• Allow Edit or Delete Suppliers - Allows the user to  edit or delete existing Suppliers

• Allow Supplier Import and Export - Allows the user to import or export their Supplier list

• Allow Stock Orders - Allows access to the Stock Orders page to add, edit, and delete stock orders

• Allow Stock Received - Allows access to the Stock Received page to add, edit, and delete stock received

• Allow Stock Returns - Allows access to the Stock Returns page to add, edit, and delete stock returns

• Allow Stock Transfers - Allows access to the Stock Transfers page to add, edit, and delete stock transfers

• Allow Transfer Cost Change - Allows access to adjust the cost price within a stock transfer between stores

Reports Permissions:

• Allow Reports - Allows the user access to the Reports tab

Sales Reports:

• Sales Summary Report - Access to the Sales Summary Report
• Sales Detailed Summary Report - Access to the Sales Detailed Summary Report
• Sales Daily Summary Report - Access to the Sales Daily Summary Report
• Sales Per Customer Report - Access to the Sales Per Customer Report
• Sales Audit Report - Access to the Sales Audit Report

Stock Reports:

• In Stock Report - Access to the In Stock Report
• Low Stock Report - Access to the Low Stock Report

Movement Reports:

• Movement Summary Report - Access to the Movement Summary Report
• Supplier Summary Report - Access to the Supplier Summary Report
• Movement Audit Report - Access to the Movement Audit Report

Top Sell Reports:

• Top Products Report - Access to the Top Products Report
• Top Customers Report - Access to the Top Customers Report

Customer Reports:

• Customer Balances Report - Access to the Customer Balances Report
• Customer Statements Report - Access to the Customer Statements Report

Settings Permissions:

• Allow General Settings - Allows the user access to the General tab in Settings
• Allow Customers - Allows the user access to the Customers tab in Settings
• Allow Add Customers - Allows the user to add new Customers
• Allow Edit or Delete Customers - Allows the user to  edit or delete existing Customers
• Allow Customer Import and Export - Allows the user to import or export their Customer list
• Allow Locations - Allows the user to access the Locations page to add, edit, and delete locations
  
• Allow Users - Allows the user access to the Users tab in Settings (This permission can only be seen when setting permissions for the non-master user/s)
