What is a Blind Stock Take ?

Modified on Thu, 3 Jul at 4:33 AM

A blind Stock Take hides the Actual column. This column gives system generated quantities for each product that is in use. When completing a stock take, the user will only be able to see the Actual column. This is the  column that can be edited if need be.

To enable a blind stock take, go to Settings (the cog on the top right next to your name). You will be taken to the General Page. Tick the box next to Blind Stock Take.

The next time you start a stock take, your Stock Take In Progress screen will look something like this, where only the Actual column will be visible.
