Processing a Stock Return

There may be a time when you might need to return stock if you have received items from suppliers that are either broken or simply just old stock and need to be returned back to your supplier.

 

A Stock Return is processed once stock is returned to the supplier and needs to be deducted from the stock on-hand.

 

To create a new stock return, click on Suppliers in the top navigation bar, then click on Stock Received. Next click on Return Stock.



You will be taken to the New Stock Return Screen.



Here you can add in the following details:

  • Reference - The reference of the stock received

  • Choose a Supplier - Click on the drop down to select the supplier for the stock received

  • Return From - Click on the drop down to select the location (store) that will be receiving the stock

  • Add a note - A note for the stock received

  • Search Products - Click on the drop down to select the product/s that you are ordering for the stock received

  • Physical Address - The physical address of where the stock order needs to be shipped to

  • Delivery Date - The date the stock order is expected to arrive

 

Once all the relevant details have been added in, click Process.



Your stock return will be processed and you will be taken back to the Stock Returns screen. Your stock return will be added to your stock return list.



You can click on your processed stock return to view the details. Click Print to download the PDF to your downloads folder.
