Processing a Stock Transfer

Modified on Fri, 27 Jun at 9:41 AM

In order to transfer stock, you need to have at least 2 stores under the same company

You can transfer stock from one store to another. This will deduct stock on-hand from the store you are doing the stock transfer in, and increase the stock on-hand of the store receiving the stock.

To create a new stock transfer, click on Suppliers in the top navigation bar, then click on Stock Transfers. Next click on Transfer Stock.

You will be taken to the New Stock Transfer Screen.

Here you can add in the following details:

  • Transfer From - The store you are transferring stock from

  • Transferring To - The store you are transferring stock to

  • Reference - The reference of the stock transfer

  • Add a Note - A note for the stock being transferred

  • Search Products - Click on the drop down to select the product/s that you are ordering for the stock received

Here you can select the products and their quantities.

Once all the relevant details have been added in, click Process.

Your stock transfer will be processed and you will be taken back to the Stock Transfers screen. Your stock transfer will be added to your stock transfer list.

Completing a stock transfer will only update the on hand quantities of the store it was completed at

You can click on your processed stock transfer to view the details. Click Print to download the PDF to your downloads folder.

Once the stock transfer has been processed at your first store, an unprocessed stock receipt will be generated under Stock Received at your second store.

This will be indicated by a notification dot next to Stock Received. The stock receipt will be in a Draft state until you process it. Once processed, the stock will update at your second store.
