Making a Product Inactive

If you find you have a product that is out of stock or temporarily unavailable and you cannot sell it, you can mark it as inactive.

To do this, click on Inventory in the top navigation bar. You will be taken to the Products screen.

Select the product you wish to make inactive. In the Update Product screen click on Active to toggle it to Inactive and click Update.

Your product will now show as Inactive in the Products list.

You won’t be able to make sales with your Inactive product. It won’t show in the favourite icons or in the search list. You also won’t be able to order more stock while it is in the Inactive state.
